Automate tasks with the scheduler

The scheduler extension supplied with TYPO3 enables the automatic, regular execution of tasks such as updating the extension list, cleaning up the database or, in conjunction with Direct Mail, for example, the automatic sending of newsletters.

In this video, we show you how to configure and use the scheduler.

These instructions refer to the setup of the scheduler extension in the TYPO3 hosting packages of jweiland.net. The setup may differ slightly for other providers.
