Secure TYPO3 with sysfire FailBan

For some weeks now, there have been repeated attacks on TYPO3 websites in which automated attempts are made to gain access via the admin user name. We have already suggested measures against this in an article.

With the sysfire FailBan extension, the IP addresses of such attackers can now be blocked for a definable period of time after a certain number of failed logins, so that access to the backend is no longer possible.
