"Juice hacking"

Smartphones (and other devices) use the same plug for charging and data transfer. This allows hackers to access the data through prepared USB power supply units and charging sockets during charging. This attack is also known as juice hacking.

The USB condom from jweiland.net is an adapter plug that lets the charging current through while the data lines are interrupted.

With our adapter, you can safely charge a smartphone at work or at public charging stations or convert a normal USB cable into a charging-only cable.
