We are almost there! The TYPO3 v11 release with long-term support is approaching fast. Today we proudly released TYPO3 version 11.4. This version marks the last phase of the v11 development cycle before the TYPO3 v11 LTS release. Read on to learn more about the last sprint release of the v11 series and what "feature freeze" really means.

The last half a year was really busy for us. Nevertheless, we want to keep you informed about our progress since November 2020, and give you an outlook on our further plans for the Content Blocks, the new Page Module and our Dynamic Grid.

In accordance with the TYPO3 lifecycle and deprecation policy, we announce that TYPO3 v9 LTS reaches its end of free support on 30 September 2021. This article retrospectively summarizes the key features and technologies that we introduced in TYPO3 v9 LTS.

The TYPO3 Core Team Codesprint held on August 12-14, 2021 was a big success. Here is a wrap-up of what happened during this hackathon, and what we achieved.

A lot has happened since July. There's easier onboarding for new users and Composer as standard, as well as a new upgrade guide and updates to the main documentation navigation.

You will soon be able to vote on the new Code of Conduct for TYPO3. But first, the Ombudsperson Group would like your feedback. All you need is a my.typo3.org user.

With the "save" extension, you can save many forms in the TYPO3 backend simply by pressing a key combination.

September 9, 2021 is the 10th anniversary of the News Extension, created by Georg Ringer. This extension is probably the most popular third-party extension in the TYPO3 ecosystem.
To make a little noise about the jubilee, I reached out to Georg, who lives in Linz, Austria, to learn more about his decade-long life and journey with the extension News (aka. News system).

With the extension content_slug by Sebastian Klein, you can also generate the anchor links for the menu type "Section Index" as "readable URLs".

This TYPO3 extension creates a glossary with A-Z links for you. Now compatible with TYPO3 11!

The "xlsimport" extension from Frank Berger makes it very easy to import Excel or CSV files into any TYPO3 database tables. Classic use case: tt_address or fe_user. But importing into the pages or tt_content tables is also no problem.

We celebrate the release of the content management system TYPO3 v.11.

In October the time has come and version 11 of TYPO3 will be released. We will celebrate this milestone together.
