Welcome to the new issue of the TYPO3 Newsletter. Here you will find news and interesting facts from the TYPO3 universe.

We are almost there! The TYPO3 v11 release with long-term support is approaching fast. Today we proudly released TYPO3 version 11.4. This version marks the last phase of the v11 development cycle before the TYPO3 v11 LTS release. Read on to learn more about the last sprint release of the v11 series and what "feature freeze" really means.

The last half a year was really busy for us. Nevertheless, we want to keep you informed about our progress since November 2020, and give you an outlook on our further plans for the Content Blocks, the new Page Module and our Dynamic Grid.

To make a little noise about the jubilee, I reached out to Georg, who lives in Linz, Austria, to learn more about his decade-long life and journey with the extension News (aka. News system).

With the extension content_slug by Sebastian Klein, you can also generate the anchor links for the menu type "Section Index" as "readable URLs".

|
|
|
|
This TYPO3 extension creates a glossary with A-Z links for you. Now compatible with TYPO3 11!
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
The "xlsimport" extension from Frank Berger makes it very easy to import Excel or CSV files into any TYPO3 database tables. Classic use case: tt_address or fe_user. But importing into the pages or tt_content tables is also no problem.

This list is only a selection of interesting extensions, not a recommendation or rating. The extensions were generally not developed or tested by us.
Tip: not every extension has to be used 1:1. Sometimes the code of an extension can simply show how certain things can be done ;)

We celebrate the release of the content management system TYPO3 v.11.
In October the time has come and version 11 of TYPO3 will be released. We will celebrate this milestone together.
