Better Multilingual Support with Crowdin

The multilingual backend has always been a great advantage of TYPO3. Whether it's French, German or English, using the backend in a language you understand means you can work faster and more confidently.

After a long history with Pootle, TYPO3 is moving on to Crowdin to take translation to the next level.

Include preview image for local videos

Früher™️ you could create an image file with the same file name of the video in the same directory of an uploaded video, which was then used as a preview image. Unfortunately, this no longer works so easily in current TYPO3 versions.

Output events sorted by month with the TYPO3 extension news

Dates (events) should be displayed in monthly sequence. Each month in which at least one event takes place should appear as a heading above the associated events, together with the year. After the end of the event, the display should disappear and, if no further events take place in this month, the heading should also disappear.

TYPO3 Extensions

TYPO3 Scanner

This tool searches a folder for code that is damaged or outdated. It is a wrapper around the TYPO3 Scanner library, which was extracted from the TYPO3 v9 core.

Automatic Save

This extension upgrades a function that is familiar from many other applications: the automatic saving of input forms in the backend at a freely definable interval.

Form to Database

Adds a finisher to save form entries directly in the database.

Of course, this is also possible with on-board tools without an extension, but this would require manual adjustments to the YAML configuration file of a form. This extension can therefore do this work for you.
