TYPO3 Newsletter - October 2016
|
|
Welcome to the new issue of the TYPO3 Newsletter. Here you will find news and interesting facts from the TYPO3 universe.
|
|
Results of the September survey
|
In the last newsletter, we conducted a small survey in which you had the opportunity to rate our newsletter and also submit criticism or suggestions for improvement.
First of all, many thanks to everyone who took the time to do this!
A few results and findings from the survey:
- approx. 10% of newsletter subscribers took part in the survey
- 53.7% of participants rated the content of the newsletter as "very good", 43.9% rated it as "good" and 2.4% rated it as "poor".
- The presentation of the newsletter (layout) could be improved, with 31.7% rating it "Very good", 39% "Good", 19.5% "Satisfactory", 2.4% "Adequate" and 7.3% "Poor".
In fact, this point is already on our to-do list. We are currently testing various ways to make the newsletter more stylish, modern and, above all, responsive. However, this also has to work in as many e-mail clients as possible.
Other feedback included the following:
- More information about new extensions
-> we are trying to do this - Listing of "outdated" extensions that are no longer being developed
-> implementing this would be very time-consuming. In addition, we cannot say for sure whether an extension will be developed further (see Templavoila!). - No personalized tracking of clicked links
-> don't worry, we only track which links are clicked and how often. We do not see who clicks on which links!
We will try to implement some of the suggestions in the next issues.
Thanks again to all participants for the valuable feedback!
