TYPO3camp Hamburg

For the 9th time the TYPO3camp Hamburg will take place from August 3rd - 5th. Tickets are still available.

The "TYPO3 East Europe" conference will take place from September 14 - 16 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

CSS display: contents;

As a front-end designer, you occasionally face the problem that the semantically best HTML structure cannot be brought into the desired form with CSS. As a result, compromises in HTML markup are often accepted. This is also the case when layout techniques such as flexbox or grid are used. With the CSS command display: contents;, such difficulties are a thing of the past.

Facebook and fan pages: Who is responsible for data protection?

The internet offers the opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with other users through social networks. In addition, platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat also help people to engage in virtual communities of interest and groups. On Facebook, companies, private organizations or artists can publish information and pursue advertising purposes through their own fan pages. It is controversial who is responsible for data protection on these commercial fan pages.

Google halves the SEO description again

The description in Google's organic search results is currently only two lines long. After around half a year, Google is rowing back after the change to just under 222 characters.
