In TYPO3, authorizations for content elements can only be set at user group level. This means that I can allow or prohibit certain content types or plugins for a user group.
With this extension it is possible to set these permissions per column of a backend layout. A "Text & Media" content element could be allowed in the large main content column, but perhaps not in the narrow side column.

We probably all know TYPO3 editors (or admins??!) who take the security of their account lightly. Passwords like "geheim123" or "password" are unfortunately not to be killed.
The be_secure_pw extension ensures that passwords must have a certain level of complexity. Optionally, users can also be prompted to change their password at an adjustable interval.

The GDPR is coming and is currently unsettling many website operators.
Georg Ringer has developed an extension that can help to secure a TYPO3 website.
His extension gdpr is currently available on Github and requires Composer.
