When you think of a blog post, you probably imagine a page with lots of written text. That's definitely not wrong. In the past, most blog posts were just that. Lots of written text. These days, however, it's unimaginable to publish a post without images. Text will of course always play an important role from an SEO perspective. But using images will help your post get more attention on Facebook, Twitter and even Google.
