Use of other content management systems (CMS)

Database host
If the CMS requires a database, please create a new database in our customer menu and enter the database server here, as shown in the customer menu.

Database access data
The database name and the database user name are always identical on our servers.

PHP version
In the domain settings in your customer menu, ensure that a PHP version is used that is supported by the CMS.

FTP access
If you want to upload the CMS via FTP, you may need to create an FTP user in the customer menu. However, most CMS can also be downloaded directly from the shell using wget.

Create domain / subdomain
Set up a domain or subdomain that points to the directory on the web space where the CMS is installed.

We can also install WordPress, Joomla! or Drupal on request. This is a purely basic installation without further customization.
We charge for the installation on a time basis, usually the costs amount to around EUR 77.35 incl. VAT.
