One-time link generator

Simply transfer sensitive information securely now!

Sending sensitive data, such as passwords, in plain text by email is not a good idea. This is because emails are like postcards and anyone can read them. Unless you put the e-mail in an "envelope" by encrypting it, e.g. with PGP or S/MIME. To do this, however, the recipient must have created a public key, which few people have.

There is an easier way:

  • Call upthe one-time link generator
  • Enter text in the input field
  • Specify how long the generated link should be valid (minutes to max. 2 weeks)
  • Click on the "Generate one-time link" button
  • and the text is encrypted and a one-time link is generated.
  • Copy the displayed link and send it to the recipient by e-mail

When the link is clicked, the message is decrypted and the message is visible in plain text. This only works once, then the message is deleted.

The special thing about this link is that it only works for the maximum period of time that you defined when you created it. After that, it becomes invalid and the encrypted message is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my data?

The texts are stored directly on our servers in encrypted form. After decryption and display in the browser, the data is irrevocably deleted and cannot be restored.

Can I restore a text that I have already sent?

No. We only display the text once and then delete the data permanently.

What should I do if I see that the message is no longer available?

Either the validity of the link has expired or a third party has intercepted the e-mail and already clicked on the link. In this case, a new password or a new message should be created. Then resend the link to the encrypted message.

Why should I trust you and send sensitive data?

  • The website of the one-time link generator uses the https protocol, all data between browser and server is transmitted in encrypted form.
  • The text is temporarily stored in encrypted form on our servers
  • In the unlikely event that data is decrypted, it cannot be used without context.
