Set up e-mail accounts in Apple Mail

This way you can use your jweiland.net e-mail account with Apple Mail.

Add account
to 2)

1) Open Apple Mail.

2) Click on Mail ' Add account... to the right of the Apple logo.

Add another mail account... select
to 3) and 4)

3) Select the option Add another mail account....

4) Click on Continue.

Enter data
to 5) and 6)

5) Enter your name, e-mail address and password.

6) Click on Create.

The message Account must be configured manually now appears.

7) Click on Continue.

Fill in data
to 8) and 9)

8) Fill in the fields as follows:

Account type: IMAP

Server in cloud hosting

In Cloud Hosting, use the domain name of your email address for the incoming mail server (example: vorname.nachname@beispielwebseite.de => DOMAINNAME = examplewebsite.com).

Server in Classic Hosting

Mail server: sslin.de

Username: E-mail address
Password: Password

9) Click on Next.

Fill in data
to 10) and 11)

10) Fill in the fields as follows:

Server in Cloud Hosting

In Cloud Hosting, use the domain name of your email address for the outgoing mail server (example: vorname.nachname@beispielwebseite.de => DOMAINNAME = examplewebsite.com).

Server in Classic Hosting

SMTP server: sslout.de

User name: E-mail address
Password: Password

11) Click on Next.

The setup is now complete.

Change inbox settings

If the incoming mail server is to be changed, a setting must first be deactivated. This can be found under "Advanced" and is called "Automatically recognize and apply account settings". Once this setting has been deactivated, you can change the incoming mail server under "Account information".
