Solr Server for TYPO3 Version 12.4
Recently the Solr extension for TYPO3 version 12.4 was released. The appropriate Solr servers are now available from us to equip TYPO3 with a very fast search.
Solr is an open source project from Apache to provide powerful searches based on the Lucene Engine.
The Solr extension for TYPO3 developed by d.k.d. has been available for many years. In order to use the search, a separate Solr core is required for each language of the website. These cores are now available in over 30 languages.
The Solr server is programmed in Java. Our customers can use two free Solr cores in most hosting plans. Additional cores can be ordered as an add-on to the plan (10 euros per month for 5 cores each).
There are no restrictions on the number of cores in terms of the number of documents or storage space used in our plans; the fair use principle applies.
